Bright citrus and lavender over warm amber and vanilla
I wanted this scent to be the signature scent; it was never meant to be the Preface. But after a few formulas, tested alongside public opinion, the Preface was born, and this was the beginning. If you ever want to spend insane amounts of money on a fragrance, Parfums de Marly Layton is the way to go, and it is what inspired the Preface.

Roasted coffee, warm resin and soft woods
Here lies nostalgia; we might as well place it in arguably one of the best places in the world. When Noir Lone was first starting, that’s when the boom of all ideas came in. Years ago, there was this cologne that was, and always will be, my favorite scent of all time: Armani Code Profumo by Giorgio Armani. It was beautiful, and I miss it every day. That cologne shaped what I wanted California and Me to be. It just brings nostalgia, and California and Me brings that feeling back, but in the modern day.

After Hours is the third composition of the Prologue. Black cherry and pink peppercorn open onto gardenia, jasmine and black tea, and the night settles into patchouli, oud and musk. The story behind it will be told here soon.
